Language Configuration¶
Important
Always double-check what language is currently selected before you make changes! If you refresh the page, the language will change back to English!
Default Languages of the Feeder User Interface¶
- In version 1:
- English
- German
- In version 2:
- English
- German
- French
- Spanish

Changing Terms¶
Within the Language Configuration, system administrators may translate system field names and thus adapt the labels to company-specific terms. The system fields are grouped in 18 categories.
- (Please choose the language on top)
- Expand a section
- Change the value for a system field name
- Save
For example:
Instead of labeling a button using Delete, go to the “global” category and name it Remove (in btn_delete).
Adding a new Language¶
- German and English are both default languages in the Feeder
- A new language must be registered first under Feeder Configuration => Languages
- This will copy the English set of system fields & labels and the new language may be selected from the drop down menu in the Language Configuration
- As of Feeder v2.5, it is possible to import/export language configuration.
Important
When translating for a new language, please select English first and open at least one section. This will render all system fields in the browser. Otherwise the successfully changed fields are loaded only! (201709)
